Coming out of the same stable as childhood friends Pete O’Grady (Joy Orbison) and Christian Sibthorpe (A1 Bassline) Jamie Kavanagh aka Kavsrave’s productions began to appear in numerous mixtapes toward the end of last year. After an early collaboration with A1 Bassline Kav returned to the studio, reportedly working alongside Joy Orbison, paring down his sound to the heavily R&B influenced, technicolour Dubstep that can be found on his ‘Quotes’ EP, forthcoming on the newly formed (from Wireblock, Dress 2 Sweat and Stuff) and much hyped Glaswegian label Numbers. Listen to his ‘Numbers Mix’ for a taste of things to come.
