It’s time for the first glimpse of new music from Redinho since ‘Stay Together’ was released in December 2011. ‘Stinger’ heralds the start of more Redinho music coming on Numbers in 2013.

This short introduction shows a slightly darker and atmospheric side to his output. It’s pulsing, rising synths combine with explosive drum rolls to create a stirring instrumental track with a nod to the 80’s synthesised soundtracks of Vangelis or John Carpenter.

The visual accompaniment to ‘Stinger’ was created by Adam Rodgers aka Goodhand, of Numbers and design studio Remote Location, along with designers Thomas Traum and Mike Tucker.
